I was pleasantly surprised by this book. One night on the beach for a party changes everything for Vanessa. Her best friend is murdered, she is bitten by an unknown werewolf, and her father turns her over to the Wolf Queen's Court without question. Thrown into a world she previously didn’t know existed, Vanessa soon discovers that the world of werewolves isn’t very forgiving on an unwanted addition. Determined to find out who killed her friend and bit her, Vanessa soon discovers that she isn’t sure who she can trust. With a dramatic reveal at the end, readers will be clamoring for the next book in the series.
