Meet Me on Mistletoe Lane by Cassie Miller

Release date is October 6, 2026

“Gianna Mancini is a Christmas romantic. She loves everything about the holiday— especially the Mullings Creek Holiday Market that opens every year in the center of town. While Gianna adores her small-town life, she still dreams about traveling the world and getting away from her overbearing family. But on the same day she receives an acceptance to a study abroad program, the town’s beloved market owner unexpectedly passes away, leaving the property to a literal Scrooge from NYC!  The town has just thirty days to convince the new owner not to sell. His flirtatious son, James comes up with a he and Gianna can fake date so she can bring her holiday flair closer to his family. While Gianna is on board with whatever it takes to save their beloved market, Sam—who has been secretly pining after Gianna for years—is not so keen on James snuggling up with his best friend next to the Christmas tree. But as the lines between Gianna and James begin to blur during gingerbread contests and candy cane hunts, so do the lines of friendship between Gianna and Sam under the glow of the town’s holiday twinkle light display. Soon both boys are ready to be under the mistletoe with Gianna. Who will be her first real Christmas kiss? The future of the market and her town just may depend on it.” - taken from Goodreads.

This was a cozy Christmas romance that takes place in a small Hallmark-esque town. Gianna Mancini finds out that her dream of a semester abroad in Italy comes true. That same day the town discovers that the owner of the town’s beloved market building died owing back taxes. When Mr. Bailey and his son James arrive in town to sell the building, Gianna is determined to find a way to thaw the Grinchy heart of Mr. Bailey and save the market building from developers.

Hatching a plan with James to fake date in an attempt to spread some Christmas cheer to his father, Gianna soon finds that her heart is torn between her fake boyfriend and her best friend Sam. With countdowns looming around her, Gianna will need to make some decisions not only about her future but about who will be by her side.

Full of Christmas movie quotes that foreshadow that chapter's action, a lovable dog named Sally, and a fierce family that supports their own, readers will be rooting for Gianna no matter what choices she makes.

Holly by Adalyn Grace (Belladonna book 3.5)

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t read the first three books in the Belladonna series, Stop! I don’t want to ruin the story for you.

“Something strange is happening at Wisteria Gardens, the magical manor that Blythe and Aris call home. All they want is a peaceful holiday season with their family, but a group of restless spirits is determined to threaten their festivities. With a new mystery to solve, Signa, Death, Blythe, and Fate must uncover what happened to Wisteria’s ghostly inhabitants and help the spirits move on before it’s too late.” - taken from Goodreads.

This was a nice wrap-up to the Belladonna series. Taking place during the Christmas holiday, all of our favorite characters are back to solve one last mystery. With that ending, the author may have one more book up her sleeve.

Only for the Holidays by Abiola Bello

“City girl Tia Solanké is dreading the festive season. She and her boyfriend are on a break and the last thing she wants is to spend Christmas away from London. Dragged to Saiyan Hedge Farm by her mother, Tia takes an instant disliking to the countryside estate. She falls in horse manure, is chased by sheep and the Wi-Fi sucks. How can she stalk her ex and concoct a foolproof plan to win him back from here?

Country boy Quincy Parker and his family run the farm, and this year they’ve been selected to host the biggest event in the town’s calendar—the Winter Ball. Preparations are underway, and Quincy is working around the clock to make it a success. The only problem is, he’s told everyone he has a date to the ball, when in reality that couldn’t be further from the truth.

At first, Tia and Quincy don’t see eye to eye, until they realize they both have something to gain by pretending to be a couple. But when a snowstorm threatens to cancel the Winter Ball, their fake relationship is put to the test. Will Tia and Quincy be able to keep up appearances and save the day, or will real feelings get in the way?” - taken from Goodreads.

Tia is unhappy to be spending the Christmas holidays in the countryside, away from her boyfriend who wants to take a break from their relationship. A true city girl, she struggles at the farm much to her chagrin. Determined to find a way back to London for her boyfriend’s party, even though he is distant, she strikes up a deal with super cute Qunicy. She will be his fake girlfriend for the town’s winter ball if he will take her to London for the party. What starts as a sham between them soon turns into something more. Will Quincy and Tia’s Christmas wishes come true?

The Christmas Clash by Suzanne Park

“Chloe Kwon can't stand Peter Li. It's always been that way. Their families don't get along either: their parents operate rival restaurants in the Riverwood Mall food court―Korean food for the Kwons and Chinese food for the Lis. Now it's the holiday season and Chloe's the photographer at the mall's Santa Land, and Peter works at the virtual reality North Pole experience right across the atrium. It's all Chloe can do to avoid Peter's smug, incredibly photogenic face.

But it turns out the mall is about to be sold to a developer and demolished for condos. Eviction notices are being handed out right before Christmas. Their parents don't know what to do, and soon Chloe and Peter realize that the two of them need to join efforts to try to save the mall. Just when it seems like they can put aside their differences and work closely (very closely) together, they discover that the Kwon and Li feud goes far deeper than either of them realize...:” - taken from Goodreads.

For me, this book fell flat and nothing was really resolved at the end. Expecting a Christmas story, Santa at the mall is the extent of the holiday season that is portrayed. Thanksgiving got the most page time of any holiday story. Not one of my best reads.
