SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t read the first book in the series, Nightshade, STOP! I don’t want to ruin one of my favorite series for you.It has been one week since the climatic events at Rowan Estate and Calla is slowly realizing where she is. Calla doesn’t trust the Searchers, a Guardian’s sworn enemy, but is relieved to see that Shay is ok. She soon realizes that everything she has known about her life is a lie to keep her enslaved to the Keepers’ cause. When Calla decides to join the Searchers in their war against the Keepers, their first mission to her relief is to go back to Vial to rescue her pack.
What has happened to Calla’s loved ones since her defection from Vial? Will she be able to rescue her pack or will they want to be rescued? And will Calla be able to choose Shay or does her heart belong to Ren?
